COMMON QUESTIONS

Q: How do I book an appointment for a service?
 

A: To book an appointment, first begin browsing our services page. Once you find the desired product, click on the book now button adjacent to the specified category. You will then be directed to a separate page to fill out out basic information regarding the desired service. Expect a response in less than 24 hours. Email is also an adequate way to receive a response fast.

Q: When do we know that our appointment has been booked?
 

A: After booking an appointment, you will receive an email confirmation as well as additional information regarding your upcoming service. 
 

Q: For personalized photography sessions, how are locations for shooting determined? 
 

A: Regarding your preferable locations for shooting, you may suggest them to us with attached addresses following your confirmation. Alternatively, we can select them for you based on convenience of region. However, locations that exceed a radius of 15 miles will require an additional $15 fee.
 

Q: How does a personalized photography session work? 
 

A: After booking the service, confirming the appointment, and discussing locations, a client will meet with the photographer at the initial site at a scheduled time. Subsequently, the client will follow the photographer from location to location to capture pictures.
 

Q: What kind of photos are taken? 
 

A: Close-up portraits. If there is a theme or desired aesthetic for a shoot, please inform us. 
 

Q: Should I bring multiple outfits to a photoshoot?
 

A: Any specific outfits, props, or stylish elements are certainly encouraged to be brought to a shoot. Time spent changing will not interfere with a session and will not be counted against the time limit. Remember, we are completely open to any creative suggestions. 
 

Q: After a session is complete, when will I get my photos? 
 

A: Ensuing the session, you will immediately receive a follow-up email regarding your service. Photos typically take 3 – 5 business days to be fully edited and enhanced. You will then receive watermarked samples through email. If satisfied with the product, a payment link will be sent to you, thus granting you access to all downloadable files through email. These photos will not be watermarked. Since email has a maximum capacity per message, all photos be sent in a series of subsequent emails all at once. 
 

Q: Will the photos exist forever on email? 
 

A: Unfortunately, email is cleared every month to alleviate more space, so please make sure to download all digital files – photos and video – within 30 days of receiving them. Of course, once you click the button to download them and store them in a safe digital space such as a folder, phone, or gallery you will have them forever! 
 

Q: When do I pay for my service and how?
 

A: Payments are accepted online – PayPal, Venmo. You only pay after you are satisfied with the samples sent through email. A payment link will then be directed to you, alongside a receipt of transaction for documentation.
 

Q: What if I am not satisfied with my service?
 

A: If you are not satisfied, please feel free to contact us at 813-304-5704 or shanebarphotography@gmail.com. We are completely open to any suggestions or alternations upon your service to satiate your creative desires.
 

Q: What equipment is used? 
 

A: All photos are shot in RAW format with the Sony A6000, thus ensuring high-quality digital compositions. Videos are shot at 24 FPS, in XAVC format. Different frame rates and formats can be altered upon request. Click here to see all of the equipment and software used. 
 

Q: Are final photos edited?
 

A: Yes, all photos are enhanced digitally in Lightroom. Saturation, contrast, brightness, exposure, and various other elements are adjusted to guarantee the highest quality. 
 

Q: How do music video services work?
 

A: Like photoshoots, clients may book a service on a certain date and receive a subsequent email confirmation. Then, we will collaborate with you to brainstorm the creative process – compositions, location shootings, themes, colors, etc. Such conversations can be conducted over email, text, call, or even video chat (Skype, Zoom, etc.) Our goal is meet your imaginative desires and facilitate their transgression into reality. After preparation, we will shoot your video efficiently.
 

Q: After a music video session is complete, when will I get my video? 
 

A: Ensuing the session, you will immediately receive a follow-up email regarding your service. Videos typically take 7 – 14 business days to be fully edited and enhanced. You will then receive a watermarked sample through email. If satisfied with the product, a payment link will be sent to you, thus granting you access to the full downloadable file through email. Q: How do advertisements work?
 

A: Like music videos, clients may book a service on a certain date and receive a subsequent email confirmation. Then, we will collaborate with you to brainstorm the creative process – compositions, location shootings, themes, colors, etc. Such conversations can be conducted over email, text, call, or even video chat (Skype, Zoom, etc.) Additionally, we will need information about your business, location, and contact information to advertise. After preparation, we will shoot your video efficiently.
 

Q: After an advertisement is complete, when will I get my video? 
 

A: Ensuing the session, you will immediately receive a follow-up email regarding your service. Videos typically take 5 - 7 business days to be fully edited and enhanced. You will then receive a watermarked sample through email. If satisfied with the product, a payment link will be sent to you, thus granting you access to the full downloadable file through email. The final product will not be watermarked.
 

Q: For creative projects such as music videos, instrumental tracks, and advertisements, is there any way we can get updates on the product?
 

A: We will always maintain consistent communication throughout the entirety of the process, but if you desire to see your product in-advance, we offer Zoom sessions for collaboration. Through the video service, we can share a live feed of us editing your product upon request. Contact us if you wish to do that. 
 

Q: How do visual effects work?
 

A: When booking visual effect composites, we will ask for the following information – type of effects, duration of video, source video, and inspirations. Based on such information, we will let you know if the effects are compatible and start the service.
 

Q: What program is used to edit visual effects?
 

A: Adobe After Effects is used to implement any composites. Regarding source layers, we use Action Essentials V2 and various external sources for high-quality materials. 
 

Q: How do instrumental tracks work? Are they pre-made tracks or are they made fresh upon request?
 

A: When booking an instrumental track, we will ask for the following information – genre, tempo, key signature, duration, and inspirations. All tracks will be made fresh, specifically based on the detailed request. Typically, a track will be complete within 7 – 14 business days.
 

Q: When will I receive my instrumental track? When do I pay?
 

A: After about 7 – 14 business days, you will receive a digital sample of your track through email when it is complete. If you are satisfied with it, you will be sent a payment link and receipt of purchase. After paying, you will be sent the full-length track.
 

Q: For instrumental tracks, do I get rights to the track?
 

A: Yes, you do. Once purchasing the track, it is entirely yours. Additionally, tracks never contain any tags.
 

Q: Do you charge extra for distant locations?
